Happy Yuletide! All my prompts are just suggestions - if you have different ideas, feel free to run with it. Also I’m normally a multishipper so I don't have much preference about pairings unless otherwise stated.

Likes

• Focus on female characters and their relationships, either shippy or platonic.
• Non-traditional relationship dynamics, including consensual polyamory and queerplatonic relationships.
• Hurt/Comfort, particularly where the Hurt aspect is emotional or psychological. The Comfort can be shippy or platonic.
• Fluff, domesticity and established relationships.
• Mutual pining and dramatic misunderstandings.
• Introspection and character-focussed works.
• AUs and tropes are great, but subverting the “usual” for an AU or trope is even better! (e.g. soulmate AU but the couple who get together aren't soulmates, fairytale AU but the princess is aromantic)
• Explorations of in-universe queerness in AUs (e.g. A/B/O where the characters don’t fit typical gender roles, alien civilisations with different ideas of sexuality).
• Including NSFW content is fine, but I prefer plot with my porn!

Scholomance - Naomi Novik

Characters: Galadriel "El" Higgins, Aadhya (Scholomance), Yi Liu (Scholomance)

Things I love about this canon: amazing (horrifying) worldbuilding, finding hope in a terrible situation, calling out structural inequality, El always deciding to do the right thing but being so grumpy about it, the inherent bravery of choosing to be kind and work together.

Prompts & Ideas:

• These three and their relationship as allies & friends are the heart of the series for me. You could focus on all three of them, or pick just one and have the other two as supporting characters, helping each other through life's ups and downs.
• The whole trio have very queer vibes to me - all of them refusing to conform to what's expected of them and instead forging their own path together. Their relationship could be friends, queerplatonic, romantic, sexual, or a mix of those as you prefer, but I'd love it if they're all some flavour of queer.
• Freebie title idea: "5 Times El's Friends Stopped Her From Doing Something Monumentally Stupid (+1 Time She Got To Be The Sensible One)"
• Post-canon era would be great!
  (Golden Enclaves spoilers ahead.)

  Exploring the maw-mouth hunting mission, El's relationship with Liesel, meeting each other's families, Liu's trauma after Beijing, setting up the new Scholomance... I'd especially love to see the girls dealing with any unexpected consequences of Orion's true nature/resurrection with their usual stubbornness and unflappability.
• Relationship-wise - please don't break up El/Orion, but I'd be more than happy to see El awkwardly negotiating her way through polyamory (esp any El/girls ships!).
• Canon-typical gore and minor character death is fine for this fandom, as is canon fic set during the Scholomance years (although please no non-magic High School AUs).

The Great (TV 2020)

Characters: Catherine, Marial, Georgina Dymov

Things I love about this canon: complex female characters, everyone is morally ambiguous, everyone has an agenda, everyone makes deeply stupid decisions, historical anachronism, and Catherine's idealism clashing headlong into cynical reality

Prompts & Ideas:

• Are they best friends? Do they hate each other's guts? Are they reluctantly allied? Are they plotting each other's downfall? Are they having sex? Yes please to all of the above!
• Obviously enemies to lovers would be great, for any combination of these or all three. Enemies to friends is also good. Friends to enemies? Enemies to lovers to friends to enemies again? Basically any combination you want.
• Exploring their complex relationships to the men in their lives, the ways they are constrained by gender, and their differing relationships to that experience.
• This fandom is an exception to my "cheating" DNW - I assume all relationships at court are open by default. Canon-typical minor character death is fine, and I would like to clarify that I don't consider characters being critical of or mad at each other in-story to be "bashing".

The Strange Case Of The Starship Iris (Podcast)

Characters: Sana Tripathi, Arkady Patel, Brian Jeeter, Krejjh

Things I love about this canon: Found family feels, Be Gay Do Crime, fighting fascism in space!, Arkady and Violet being cutely awkward around each other, Brian and Krejjh being couple goals, taking care of each other in all different ways.

Prompts & Ideas:

• Pre-Canon era! What did the OG Iris crew get up to before Violet joined the ship?
• A variation on the above: how have things changed for the OG gang since Violet, and later Park & McCabe, joined the crew?
• Or really anything about the crew’s relationship is fine with me!

Dames & Dragons (Podcast)

Characters: Corbin, Fran, Slake, Maeri

Things I love about this canon: the worldbuilding, any time when the teens are socially awkward, “roll to fall in love”, everyone teasing each other - but also the contrast between the fun/awkward moments and everyone getting to be badass!

Prompts & Ideas:

• Almost anything with these four interacting and being friends. I just love these awkward teens with my whole heart.
• How has the group dynamic changed since Maeri's ascension/Fran's time in the void? I'd love to see the crew getting a chance for some downtime and reflecting on the evolution of their relationships!
• I would be happy with any combination of these 4 characters for shipping, or purely gen fic. Canon ships (e.g. Fran/Falen) are also fine.
